Purpose of the Import Sale

Our Import Sale was created to help offset the increasing import tariffs, customs fees, and logistical costs that Nerd Urbanity directly incurs when importing figures and collectibles from overseas markets (primarily Japan and China). These added expenses—often exceeding 25%—are absorbed so collectors can continue to enjoy authentic international releases at fair, accessible prices.

Eligibility Criteria

Only products imported directly by Nerd Urbanity LLC qualify for the Import Sale.

 

Eligible items typically include:

• Action figures and collectibles imported directly from Japan, China, or Hong Kong through Nerd Urbanity’s authorized overseas distributors.

• Products for which Nerd Urbanity has paid import duties or tariffs at U.S. customs clearance.

• Items that are not distributed through standard U.S. retail channels (e.g., BBCW/Alliance, Entertainment Earth, or Hasbro Pulse).

Exclusions

The following items do not qualify for the Import Sale:

• Products not imported by Nerd Urbanity (including items sourced through U.S. distribution partners or local warehouses).

• Items not subject to import tariffs or customs fees paid by Nerd Urbanity.

• U.S. domestic lines such as Marvel Legends, Star Wars The Black Series, G.I. Joe Classified, or other standard Hasbro, Mattel, McFarlane, or Funko releases.

• Preorders fulfilled through third-party domestic distributors.

• Accessories, apparel, and non-taxed merchandise.

Discount and Duration

• The Import Sale provides up to 25% off qualifying imported products.

• This sale is ongoing for the foreseeable future, serving as a pricing relief measure while elevated import tariffs remain in effect.

• Nerd Urbanity reserves the right to adjust eligible items or discount levels as import conditions and tariff rates evolve.

Each qualifying product listing will indicate eligibility for the Import Sale.
